The most comfortable way, but may not the fast way (traffic jam happens in Hong Kong usually)
In Hong Kong, there are three different color taxi (Red, Green and Light blue).
Different color means the different operating areas. Urban taxis (Red) operate in most areas in Hong Kong. New Territories taxis (Green) mainly operate in the north-eastern part and north-western part of Hong Kong. Lantau taxis (Light Blue) operate only on Lantau Island and Chek Lap Kok. All taxis are allowed to provide services at the passenger terminals of Hong Kong International Airport, the Hong Kong Section of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Hong Kong Disneyland.
In short, you will take Urban taxis (Red) most of the time.

How to recognize a taxi?
You can see a light box (it may be / may not be light up) on top of the car.
Some taxi may have advertisement on the car body, but the light box on top of the car should be there.
The cost is around HKD330-450 (you can only pay by cash, the driver may reject HKD1000 banknote).
Travelling time is 50-120 minutes (traffic jam happens in Hong Kong usually).
Please request the taxi driver to give you a receipt.
The cheapest way, you can see the view of Hong Kong, but you need to know where you are and drop-off the bus on the right station.
